two wrongs make a right.

last week's illustration was what I considered my most achived work so far on this blog, and yet it didn't cause one single comment or reaction. this is confusing. not only for the obvious ego bruise, but it questions my very research in art. what if my final purpose as a creator is only destined to meet nothing more than indifference ?
not good for my abandon neurosis.

anyway. I can see the sun rising above my screen now on what should be a good day with a lot of work to do, a car with no brakes to fix, some groceries to do and some friends for food and vodka.
have a good one.

YF3-6 INTRICATE

this week's topic asked for some good ol' school wacom scratching.
I googled to find some picture with the right pose but ended up sketching it from scratch (a-ha)
I used some of Asja 's wonderfull textures. I suggest you'd visit her art blog.
It's full of splendid photos and paintings.
other than that. well...
I need a beer and a good night sleep. I'll spend the evening listening to the new album by Elysian Fields untill my head spin, and next evening with Elysian Fields.

anynone needs a cool name for a garage band?

I went to visit a friend of mine who works in a tattoo shop, and looking at the little pots on his work table, I thought "what a powerfull name that is".
maybe I just spent too much time on my own today.

I'd beter hide this before connie finds it :)
